I'll be speaking at a couple of upcoming events.

On September 27, I'll be presenting at TechBirmingham's TechMixer University. The topic is best practices for source control - not just a laundry list of rules, but the reasons behind them. I might also compare and contrast a few branching strategies, but I'm still working on some of the timing. See the full speaker schedule or register now!

On October 4, I'll be speaking about Continuous Integration at Agile Birmingham. For many people, CI just means setting up a rolling build, but I think there's much more to it than that. I'll attempt to highlight all aspects of CI and present a path for going from zero to hero. This event will be at Jack Henry and Associates at 6PM. More information and registration are up on Eventbrite.

I'm honored to be speaking at these events, and I hope to see some familiar faces in each audience. Let me know if there are any specific points you think I should cover in either talk!
